We're between Olney and Laytonsville in Montgomery County, Maryland. From Virginia: - Take the Beltway to 270 North toward Frederick. - From 270, take the 370 exit and right ramp onto 370 toward METRO. - From 370, take the Shady Grove Road 2nd exit (East). - Take Shady Grove a few miles, and across Muncaster Mill Road (Fire Station on right) at the light. - Shady Grove becomes Airpark Drive. Stay in right lane and turn RIGHT at the light onto Woodfield Road, Rt. 124. - Follow 124 for about .5mile and turn RIGHT at light onto Fieldcrest. - Stay on Fieldcrest to stoplight, turn LEFT onto Rt. 108 West. - Take first RIGHT turn onto Riggs Road. - Follow Riggs for about 1-1/2 miles, look for "ALPACAS" signs along the way. - Look for a large tree trunk leaning into the road shoulder as Riggs makes a sharp right turn. - Don't follow Riggs. Go down gravel driveway at 5401 (black mailbox) at BlueGenes sign. (BlueGenes is about 45 minutes from Rt. 7 and 495) From MD: - Take Connecticut Ave. to Georgia Avenue in Aspen Hill and turn LEFT at the light onto Georgia at light. - Follow Georgia into Olney (pass Leisure World, pass "Roots" and into Olney. - Turn LEFT onto Rt. 108 at the light. - Follow 108 about 6 miles to Riggs Road (just past light at Fieldcrest). - Turn RIGHT onto Riggs. - Follow Riggs for about 1-1/2 miles, look for "ALPACAS" signs along the way. - Look for a large tree trunk leaning into the road shoulder as Riggs makes a sharp right turn. - Don't follow Riggs. Go down gravel driveway at 5401 (black mailbox) at BlueGenes sign.
